Intrathecal Immunoglobulin M synthesis (IgM ) and spinal MRI lesions are both strong independent predictors of higher disease activity and severity in multiple sclerosis (MS). We investigated whether IgM is associated with spinal cord manifestation and higher neuroaxonal damage in early MS.
