Brief description/objective

Current literature suggests a beneficial effect of therapeutic hypothermia in patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage. The benefit is potential 2-fold with regards to ICP management and protection against ongoing brain injury including cerebral vasospasm. A multi-center, randomized trial is planned in the future.
