Brief description/objective
A 46-year-old woman suffered from pain attacks in her fourth finger over the course of 15 years. Pain was aggravated by low temperatures and touching. A blue spot was visible under the nail. After surgical resection, histologic analysis confirmed the diagnosis 'glomus tumor'. The patient was pain-free at 6 weeks after surgery.
