Brief description/objective
A case illustrating the well-known fact how careful evaluation of the medical history can change the therapeutic approach. In patients with typical findings for atherosclerosis but absence of a typical risk factor profile other causes such as fibromuscular dysplasia, cystic adventitial disease, vasculitis or popliteal artery entrapment syndrome should be considered.
