Brief description/objective

There can be many differences between the clinical presentation and disease development of endocrine orbitopathy. Uncommon clinical expressions of the disease may lead to misinterpretations causing difficulties in treatment. Misdiagnosed forms of the disease can end with irreversible vision loss.
