Brief description/objective

The COVID-19 pandemic, caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, poses a major challenge for global health care systems, as virus spreads fast and recent data point to >10% of severe cases, requiring hospitalization and/or treatment in the intensive care unit. Comorbid and elderly patients are particularly at risk for adverse outcome, even death. This is particularly important for cancer patients, as they often combine other risk factors. Despite fast accumulation of new data about this pandemic there are until now only scarce reports focusing on cancer patients only. Aim of this study is to collect data of cancer patients developing SARS CoV-2 infection.
