The primary study objective is to test the scale structure, reliability, responsiveness to change and validity of the EORTC QLQ-CAX24 in conjunction with the EORTC QLQ-C30 in people diagnosed with cancer cachexia with different primary cancer diagnoses, at different stages of disease, and with different amount of secondary nutrition impact symptoms.
Brief description/objective

The aim of the present study is to test the scale structure, reliability, responsiveness to change and validity of the EORTC QLQ-CAX24 in conjunction with the EORTC QLQ-C30 in people diagnosed with cancer cachexia with different primary cancer diagnoses, at different stages of disease, and with different amount of secondary nutrition impact symptoms (S-NIS). N=240-360 patients with cachexia syndrome (Group A), n=240-360 patients with refractory cachexia (Group B) and n=50 patients with weight loss <2% (Group C) will be recruited.
