The research team led by Prof. Burkhard Ludewig investigated the interaction between immune cells and connective tissue cells in lung cancer. Together with researchers from the University of Zurich, they discovered how immune cells are efficiently directed to tumor cells and thus control the effect of immunotherapy. The study was published in November 2024 in the prestigious journal Cell. The publication is available under the following link.
