The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) will support the mBiomR project led by PD Dr. Baharak Babouee Flury from our Clinic for Infectious Diseases/Hospital Hygiene with a research funding of CHF 815'000. In the planned four-year project, the distribution dynamics of pathogens of the "ESKAPE" group in the gut, their adaptation and the resistance mechanisms in response to antimicrobial exposure will be investigated.
